The Northern Lights Irish Dancers have been performing around northern and central Michigan since 2007. Our goal is to share our love of Irish dance with our community and beyond. From schools, festivals, fundraisers, parades, and so much more – we have proudly performed for tens of thousands of people over the years. While we love performing traditional dances, Ceilis, and sets, we also enjoy bringing our story productions to the stage. With modern and traditional choreography, we try to always bring something new to our audience.
The NLID is a performance troupe for serious and committed Irish dancers. Students may join by invitation only. Our troupe members range in age from 8 years old to adult, and troupe apprentices have joined as young as the age of 5.
If you would like the NLID to perform at your event, please contact us here! We are available throughout the year, however we typically perform around the holidays, St. Patrick’s day, and during the summer months.
